We draw our inspiration from the children of today and tomorrow — and from the belief that clean energy and sustainable living are achievable right now.
— Blue Pacific Energy
Blue Pacific Energy was launched in 2009 by principal Cliff Ryden. Since then we have proven to be a solid contributor to increased renewable clean energy use, green building practices, and sustainable living across Hawaii and the Pacific.
We are still chasing the wind — and doing something positive for people and the planet!
Cliff co-developed and instructs the Small Wind Energy Design and Installation Course at UH Maui College — a 40-hour green workforce development course and the first of its kind in Hawaii. He holds positions on the Maui Electric Vehicle Alliance working group and the UH Maui College Sustainable Construction Technology Program Advisory Committee.
A dedicated group — including trusted subcontractors — who care deeply about our island communities and the places we call home.
Wind produces electricity at night and during cloudy weather when PV panels cannot. Together they bring you closer to the Net Zero Energy dream.
We invite children to submit a drawing of a wind turbine. If you are young at heart, you can submit one too!
